The world-renowned Graton Resort and Casino has canceled its New Year’s Eve gala party, yet, a couple of casino houses of Northern California have decided to proceed with their grand party plans. According to the reports issued by the Sacramento Bee, Thunder Valley Casino and Cache Creek Casino Resort are planning to go ahead with their New Year’s Eve extravaganza and will be attended by more than 6000 guests. Even though the casino hasn’t opened its doors to the general public, the indoor party is going to be thronged by thousands of guests.
However, Thunder Valley shall be closed to the public on New Year’s Eve and shall open on 1st January 2021 at 6 a.m. The gambling houses that are located in the tribal areas of the state are not subject to the COVID-19 regulations issued by state authorities. As such, several tribal casinos have reopened their doors to the general public after a prolonged shutdown with proper protocol in place.
Thunder Valley Casino is located at Lincoln, Placer County. The region has a test positivity rate of 12.4%. However, the casino’s guests need not be concerned about contracting the infection as the casino is going to implement stringent health guidelines for safety and well-being, including temperature checks, barriers, and more. The casino is opening at a moderate capacity and will allow eating, drinking, and smoking.
