He further mentioned how the Casino is working on a sanitization plan and gradually upgrading the venue as well. Around 130 to 400 employees were reserved to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of the space and the casino equipment. The staff is trained under the COVID-19 sanitization protocol, and the employees who were laid off during the lockdown period were provided with paid leaves.
The guests and the staff have to wear double-layer masks and are advised to maintain a considerate distance from each other; the hotel staff will not allow guests to use a scarf or a bandana to cover their faces. Entry into the casino and hotel is limited; there will be non-intrusive temperature checks at the entrances.
To ensure customer safety, chewing tobacco or smoking, cigars, vapes, pipes, etc., is strictly prohibited in the casino’s premises. Officials believe that if customers continue to pull down their masks to smoke, the virus may spread through the smoke or the smoker’s cough.
According to Scheer, the sports betting space’s opening date is scheduled for September, the marks will be telecasted on a 98-inch display screen, along with a ticker on the wall showing betting score updates.
